2019年4月9日至18日,國際博協培訓中心2019年春季培訓班在故宮博物院成功舉辦。這是培訓中心在北京舉辦的第十二期常規培訓班,歷時10天,共招收28名學員。其中,中國學員12名,來自國內10省市12家機構;國際學員16名,來自亞非歐拉15個國家,其中俄羅斯和比利時首次派員參加培訓。
The ICOM-ITC April 2019 Training Workshop was organized at the Palace Museum in Beijing from April 9 to 18. As its 12th workshop in Beijing, the ICOM-ITC recruited a total of 28 participants: 12 Chinese participants from 12 institutions in 10 provinces and 16 international participants from 15 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. This is also the first time for the ICOM-ITC to welcome participants from Russia and Belgium.

針對本期培訓主題“當今博物館藏品之挑戰”,8位中外專家從自身專業出發,圍繞藏品管理、藏品著錄、藏品保管、收藏中的爭議等問題展開課程。
Centering on the theme “The Challenges of Museum Collections Today”, eight experts from home and abroad gave lectures on varied topics, including collection management, documentation, conservation and controversies in collecting based on their practices and experience.
國家文物局副局長關強介紹了中國博物館藏品管理現狀和實踐以及我國藏品管理工作面臨的諸多挑戰。原故宮博物院院長單霽翔介紹了故宮藏品概況,尤其是故宮文化的博大精深和彌足珍貴。故宮博物院副院長婁瑋講述了故宮藏品來源、藏品清理工作以及故宮藏品管理模式和理念等。
Mr. Guan Qiang, Deputy Director of State Administration of Cultural Heritage, introduced the practices and situation of Chinese museum management, as well as the challenges in collection management. Dr. Shan Jixiang, former Director of the Palace Museum, presented the general information of collections housed in the Palace Museum, which gave participants a full sense of the vastness, depth and preciousness of its culture. Mr. Lou Wei, Deputy Director of the Palace Museum, summarized the provenance of the Museum's collection, and the work it has done in collection documentation and management.

Chinese experts give lectures at the workshop
美國達特茅斯學院歷史學副教授理查德·克雷默分享了對于“收藏策略”的思考,就如何管理藏品提供了許多行之有效的意見和建議。莫雷拉·塞勒斯文化機構藏品主管加布里埃爾·貝維拉克分析了藏品著錄的相關標準,表明了制定藏品整理周期在藏品管理中的重要性。瑞典國家博物館保管與攝影部主任克里斯蒂·西布爾闡述了藏品保管及藏品使用中的風險管理等知識。
Dr. Richard Kremer, the Associate Professor of History at Dartmouth College, shared his opinions on “collection strategies”, and provided quite a few suggestions on collection management. Mr. Gabriel Bevilacqua, Collection Manager of Institute Moreira Salles, presented standards related to collection documentation, and pointed out the significance of implementing the collection processing lifecycle. Ms. Kriste Sibul, Director of Preservation and Photography of National Museum, explained in detail the risks in collection conservation and utilization.

International experts give lectures at the workshop
“展示匯報技巧”課由國際博協培訓中心協調人克勞德·福貝爾和故宮博物院宣傳教育部副主任果美俠共同授課。兩位專家通力合作,從展示匯報的整體結構、中心思想、時間把控等方面提供了許多實用技巧。在實踐環節,中國學員和國際學員由兩位專家分別指導,并最終以小組形式展示匯報形式呈現實踐成果。
The session “Giving Great Presentations” was jointly delivered by Mr. Claude Faubert, Coordinator of ICOM-ITC, and Dr. Guo Meixia, Deputy Director of the Department of Publicity and Education of the Palace Museum. The two experts worked together and shared many skills in terms of presentation structure, key points, time control, etc. The participants were encouraged to give presentations in practice under the guidance of the experts to show their acquired skills.

Giving Great Presentations
“藏品閱讀”作為培訓班的經典課程之一,此次由美國專家理查德·克雷默和加拿大專家克勞德·福貝爾共同授課。課程選用了七件“藏品”,分別為定窯孩兒枕、累絲香囊、窗欞、脊獸、穿線板、琺瑯瓶和十二花神杯,均為故宮文創產品或教育活動用品。學員在仔細觀察這些物品后,記錄尺寸、顏色、工藝等信息,并通過生動有趣的形式演繹“藏品”的故事。
Reading Artifacts, one of the classic sessions of the workshop, was given by Richard Kremer and Claude Faubert. This session chose 7 objects, including child-shaped pillow of Ding kiln, gold filigree sachet, window lattice, ridge figures, threading plates, cloisonne bottle and porcelain cups with flower designs of twelve months, all of which are cultural products or tools for educational programmes. After carefully observing these objects, the participants recorded their size, color, crafts and other information, and told their stories in a vivid and interesting way.

“小型研討會”由四位外國專家共同主持。學員可與專家探討培訓中的疑惑或工作中的難題,發表自己的見解,交流彼此的收獲。這個環節為專家和學員提供了面對面暢談的機會,談話內容更有針對性和實踐指導意義。
“Mini-Workshop” was jointly delivered by four international experts, in which participants discussed with them the doubts at training and challenges at work, shared their opinions and gains. This session allowed experts and participants to talk face to face about some more pertinent and practical issues.

為增進學員間的了解,本期培訓在報到當天特別設置了“展示匯報”環節,鼓勵每位學員上臺展示自我。比利時學員克萊曼斯和中國學員林蘇晗自愿擔任該環節主持,從培訓開始前,就與培訓中心協調人克勞德積極溝通該環節的實現形式,表現出積極認真的態度和良好的組織能力。在該環節,學員依次介紹所在國家或地區的地域特色、代表美食及個人興趣愛好等,有效拉近了學員間的距離,增強了初次見面的趣味性和互動性。
To better know about each other, a “Show and Tell” session was organized before the workshop, in which participants were encouraged to present themselves. Belgian participants Clemence and Chinese participant Lin Suhan volunteered to act as moderators of the session. They communicated actively with the Coordinator of the ICOM-ITC Claude Faubert before the start of the session, showing an earnest attitude and good capacity for organizing. In the session, participants, one by one, introduced the regional features and representative cuisine of their country or region, as well as their interests, which effectively closed the distance between them and enhances the interest and interactivity of the first meeting.

培訓班的成功舉辦,得益于故宮博物院、國際博協和中國博協三方的共同協作。今后,培訓中心將繼續為世界范圍內的博物館人搭建良好的國際交流平臺,提供最前沿的博物館理念,促進博物館事業的蓬勃發展。
This workshop owes its success to the concerted collaboration of the Palace Museum, ICOM and ICOM China. In the future, the ICOM-ITC will continue to prove itself as an effective international platform for exchanges among museum professionals, and equip them with advanced museum knowledge and information, thus to promote museum development around the world.
